My Poem: A Moment of Stillness

Stillness
Envelopes the momentary worries
Carries the troubles into the distance
Where they drift into the abyss
Calming the raging sea
Relief pours in like a flood
An instance of joy is created
A single laugh breaks through
Mirthful thoughts collide
Obliterating negativity
Light illuminates the path
For the eyes to have sight
To walk with guidance
With confidence
With no more glances behind
The soul sings out
Trust is revealed
To have the utmost assurance
Loneliness will never come
Solitary no longer exists
Truth is uncovered
With the slightest patience
Concord is breached
Without hesitation
Uncovering regrets
To be faced for the last time
A chance to let go
To move on
Truth is no longer hidden
Only faced
Guilt is washed away
Cleanliness transpires
Freedom is obtained
All forgotten
In the end
There is only stillness
